Targeting

Targeting

When setting up an ad group for your campaign, the MobFox Advertiser Platform allows you to choose from a multitude of targeting options to make sure your ad catches the right eyeballs.

Geo & Operator Targeting
To target your ad group to specific countries, states, cities or operators, simply select the appropriate targeting option and start typing a geo or operator name in the auto-complete box. If you want to limit your targeting to 3G or WIFI Traffic, you may do so by choosing the appropriate checkbox.

Device & Platform Targeting
To target or exclude specific devices or platforms, simply choose the appropriate targeting checkbox and start typing a device name in the auto-complete box. You may also target specific Operation Systems by selecing "Specific Platform/OS" in the 'Platform' section.

Publisher Targeting
The Publisher Targeting Section allows you to white- or blacklist specific Publisher IDs (also called Sub-IDs) for your campaign. Simply paste one Publisher ID per Line in the Targeting Box.

To obtain Publisher IDs, you can either run a Campaign Report grouped by "Sub-ID" which will output your campaign results grouped by Publisher ID, or use our Click Tokens to dynamically append the Publisher ID to your ad's click URL or html markup.

IP Range Targeting
Our IP Range Targeting feature allows you to white- or blacklist specific IP Ranges for your campaign. This may be useful when running operator-targeting campaigns that require a specific IP Range or connection type for carrier billing.

To use this targeting feature, simply paste one IP Range per line (format 0.0.0.0-0.0.0.1) into the targeting box. Please note that the first IP in the Range must always be lower than the second one. It is not currently possible to target/block individual IP addresses with this feature.

Scheduling
The Scheduling feature allows you to choose at which days or times your campaign should run. To use this feature, start typing a day/time or day type in the auto-complete box. Possible values include:

- Monday
- Monday 1-2 AM
- Run on Weekdays / Run on Weekends

Device ID Type Targeting
Device ID Targeting allows you to require that certain Unique Device IDs, such as the Apple iOS IFA, have to be available with the ad impression. Your ad will only show when the Publisher provides one or more of the selected Device identifiers with the ad impression.
